The San Jose Beginning Experience is a peer ministry for Widowed, Separated and Divorced Catholics, with Fr. Albert Grosskopf as its spiritual counselor. Beginning Experience is an international ministry that has been active throughout the Bay Area for over 30 years, helping individuals suffering from a loss to reevaluate themselves and their lives and to move into the future with renewed hope. The Beginning Experience Weekend is the foundation of our ministry. The weekend program at the Vallombrosa Retreat Center invites the resolution of the grief that results following the loss of a loved one. |
