Next ChapterBelleville. Next Chapter is a support group dedicated to individual recovery and rebuilding following a separation or a divorce. Painful though it is, this experience is a gift from God which may be used to come to a more perfect understanding of oneself, a greater maturity, and a closer union with the giver. The group reaches out in compassion to offer support and healing in this time of critical need. Meetings are each Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. at the Catholic Pastoral Center in Belleville (Bldg. 6 Library). The second Tuesday of the month is a Speaker Meeting. Download their latest newsletter. For questions or comments please contact Bob @ 618-642-2429 or Pat @ 618-236-0566 or send e-mail to nextchaptergroup@yahoo.com.

The Family Life Office offers two programs to help you as you enter the process of dealing with the aftermath of your divorce. The first is a divorce support group that meets weekly for ten consecutive weeks entitled The Divorce Recovery Workshop. The second is a weekend retreat experience entitled the Divorced and Separated Koinonia or DASK for short. Both programs are entirely staffed and facilitated by others who have been through the divorce process. Visit the Family Life Office web page, or contact the office for more information. |
