Divorce and Beyond:
A 10-Week Program with Proven Results for Those Experiencing Divorce
Durango, CO
Various dates and locations
You announced that you are getting a divorce. Your friends don't know what to say, so they're staying away? You feel cheated and angry? Sound familiar? You are not alone.
There are loving, dedicated therapists who will support you through this mourning process into healing and acceptance. You will share your experiences with a small group of others, men and women, who are also undergoing this seemingly hopeless trauma. This is a safe and confidential setting. There IS light at the end of the tunnel.
What About the Children? — When you are enrolled in Divorce and Beyond and you feel that your child or children would benefit from association with other children who are in the same boat, so to speak, you can enroll them in a class designed especially for them. It meets at the same time and place as Divorce and Beyond. We talk about custody, visitation, Mom's house and Dad's house and play games designed to bring repressed fears into the open. This program is limited to children aged 6 through 12. Sometimes they get tired of learning concepts after being in school all day, so we do puzzles, drawing and other creative activities.
These programs is presented by the Colorado Lifework Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Colorado nonprofit organization, and is offered periodically. The cost of the 10-week program is $25. Scholarships are available. For more information and the latest schedule please call Ginny at 970-385-5575 or Therese at 970-247-0435.
