    The Family Life Office offers a regular program for Divorced, Widowed and Separated Catholics.  The typical meeting involves a time for Mass and Confessions, and then a presentation on a particular topic.  For more information on this program, or to find out when the next Mass for Divorced, Widowed and Separated Catholics will be, call the Family Life Office at 402-488-2040.

    The Widowed, Separated & Divorced Ministry of the Family Life Office offers a wealth of support services, including:
  • Coping (a six-week program for widowed, divorced, and separated adults of all faiths);
  • DivorceCare (a 13-week video series for divorced and separated, open to people of all faiths);
  • Beginning Experience (www.beginningexperienceofomaha.org);
  • Annulment Sessions;
  • Remarriage Preparation;
  • Rainbows (for elementary, secondary and high school age youth); and
  • Monthly Support Group Meetings.

    Widowed, Divorced and Separated of Omaha—The Widowed, Divorced and Separated of Omaha is a peer-to-peer Christian Ministry sponsored by the Archdiocese of Omaha and directed to widowed, divorced and separated persons.  WDS of Omaha offers a safe environment where men and women and their families can find support in the following areas: spiritual, educational, friendship and social.  In addition to monthly general meetings, WDS of Omaha provides social activities that offer friendship and recreation to men and women adjusting to the single lifestyle.  For details on programs and events, visit the WDS of Omaha website or download their excellent newsletter.
